Collabora Response
8y
Collabora's customers are global, our strength is our people, we hire the best wherever they are. We also offer relocation to our UK and Canadian offices.
Collabora is committed to Open Source in a genuine way.
Cons
Low compensation.
Working multiple projects at once can be grueling. Deadlines can be very tight. Combine that with jumping between new codebases and domains can be very high stress.
There are also some things Collabora isn't up front about. Like how people who bring in a new project and/or lead it sometimes are compensated a percentage of the value of the project, and how to become a partner (you can't unless current ones vote you in).

Cons
Communication between engineers and non-engineers is difficult
Hard to create standard processes, disagreement on every subject ( vim vs emacs)
Most conversations are Open Source related only.
You can end up working 24/7 because you want to, forgetting to live your life
