Corporate greed at its finest

Pros

Cool collectibles and some nice co-workers

Cons

This place used to be super cool and people used to enjoy the job. Now it’s just another factory with very little regard for the employees. The level of greed displayed is revolting. PSA name recognition is the only thing keeping this ship afloat. The pay structure is a joke as well.

Pros

- product services are extremely interesting and the space is exciting. - employees are quite passionate about the product. - Jersey City office is beautiful and well-maintained. - pay along with work-life balance are reasonable, appropriate and equitable.

Cons

- benefits are tiered as well as unbalanced and the lack of transparency regarding this has created resentment at certain levels. - commuter benefits are partially subsidized on a monthly basis but a moot point for employees expected to be fully onsite. - communication between coastal offices leaves plenty to be desired and rectified, certainly room for improvement here as it is choppy and inconsistent.

Not what it used to be

Pros

Nice coworkers and talented engineers. The company is a leader in the niche. Decent work life balance before everything changed.

Cons

Toxic middle management creates a lot of politics, manager keeps tab on every mistake and use them against you. It's not infrequent to hear the manager bad mouthing their own bosses and other team leaders, which creates a lot of distrust and doubts. Favoritism means that your opinion doesn't matter when you are not on the manager's good side. Some tech leads with a "my way or highway" attitude that makes career advancement virtually impossible. Condescending attitude and being talked down constantly destroys motivation.
