Pros

Friendly people environment and spacious workspace.

Cons

Company does not give adequate compensation in terms of salary. They disguise giving raises via a flat 50 cent to $1 increase only for operations employees over the span of a year as long as there is no disciplinary warnings on record (if you are non operations you’ll probably get a couple of dollars if you’re lucky and you cannot negotiate it, some got up to as little as 60 cents) Internal mobility is slow and any type of processes are “in progress” of creation but will realistically not be implemented until six months later unless you are in operations. Will not feel valued if you are looking to grow, they mainly want those with experience and will work you with tight deadlines.

Pros

The pay is pretty good for a first job and you will learn a decent amount of skills.

Cons

Management makes one-sided decisions such as "mandatory overtime". It's also very cliquey and much of the management and leads are family or friends with each other.

Pros

- around cards all day long, regularly see $1,000+ valued cards and other rare items - around a group of incredibly knowledgeable graders with anywhere from a few months of experience to over 20+ years - financial fee-based structure will continue to empty the pockets of collectors and increase the bottom line for the foreseeable future.

Cons

- management structure is terrible, card grading “manager” oversaw some 60+ graders with no line supervisors utilized - training is almost non-existent - HR is just there for show, don’t really do anything to protect their employees - allowing few individuals to run rampant within the company while not following a single company policy - feedback structure is such that if you are not being spoken to by the manager, that means that you are doing a good job - pay was borderline poverty level for this area of the country
