The board is filled with wonderful generous colleagues who will work themselves into the ground for results. These are some of the most empathetic I’ve met in a corporate structure

Cons

I’ve been here for 7 years and my career is stuck. Completely stalled out and not for a lack of effort! If you don’t get to the senior roles within 3 years, you probably won’t ever advance. Keep that in mind. I’ve applied to 4 roles in which I met the qualifications and could not get through internally for an interview.

Pros

Overall, I had a positive experience with the College Board. The work environment was professional and supportive, and I felt like my contributions were valued. CB had a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, which I really appreciated. There were frequent team meetings and brainstorming sessions where everyone had the chance to contribute their ideas. This created a sense of camaraderie and made it easy to work together towards common goals.

Cons

There are more opportunities to move up by changing departments, it’s difficult to do that in the same department.
