Pros

It was a solid painting job with OK compensation and 40 hours a week. It taught me a lot about life as a painter.

Cons

The work was insanely boring but hey, you're a painter. Most of the customers ended up angry that the work was done poorly, but no painters received training and the management was just as clueless.

Pros

The pay is slightly above minimum wage (not that they actually give you what you deserve). Also, at least you don't have to work 40 hours a week for just a high school summer job.

Cons

Your manager lowballs budget hours so you end up working for free all the time. It is also extremely embarrassing when the owner complains about your poor work and you can't do anything because you were given almost no training.

Pros

You can develop you sales skills and it will put you in uncomfortable situations that will allow you to grow as a person.

Cons

What they promise you is far from the truth. Employers will not care about the experience as much as they say they will, the money is bad and they will tend to fire people before they turn a profit and use their work give to the top performers. They say it isn't a pyramid scheme because they frame the definition of a pyramid scheme in a very specific way but it is. Very bad company to get involved with.
