Good experience, poor compensation

Pros

Tutoring the students is fun and challenging (in a good way), management is nice, the kids will warm up to you which is the best part. You get pay raises and more hours after working there for a year

Cons

Pay is quite bad ($12/hr) and the company does not provide compensation for travel. Shifts are only an hour long so it’s difficult to work a lot.

Pros

Great opportunity to develop your skills quickly and take on large projects (especially for recent graduates). Hard work is rewarded and recognized by management team. Very collaborative environment -- organizational decisions receive input from all of the staff.

Cons

Some miscommunication between executives and staff. Staff turn-over and not enough infrastructural support to absorb the loses.
