Pros
Fort Collins provides great scenery in being located just in front of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The weather is usually sunny and provides 4 great seasons. CSU allows undergraduates to actively participate in research and gives many undergraduates opportunities to become involved in extracurricular activities to help boost one's resume. Although the cost of tuition is rising, CSU is no MIT when it comes to cost of attendance.
Cons
The name of Colorado State University doesn't exactly stand out to too many global employers. This leads to the unappreciative employers toward the hard working engineers who spend over 80 hours a week doing homework.
