My time at Umpqua Bank

Pros

I started at a different location than I ended up at. The first location hired me out of several people they interviewed, and I loved it there. It was mainly the people I worked with that I enjoyed, plus the location.

Cons

The second location had a different group of people, not as friendly, and was much faster paced. The manager seemed to micro-manage if they didn't approve of the way a customer was greeted, etc.

Pros

The associates at the bank truly care about their customers and their employees. Employees do receive bonuses for referring customers and closing deals, but it is never expected to push product on customers, especially if it's not something they truly need. The atmosphere is kind, genuine, and courteous, and management is more than willing to work with your life situation and help you become the best person and employee you can be.

Cons

The only con I can think of is the computer systems, they were often slow and would freeze. However, it was something that was being worked on and helplines were always available and ready to assist.
