A bank with a heart and soul...sounds unbelievable because until Umpqua came along, cold and impersonal was the norm. Umpqua is woven into the fabric of the communities it serves, an do was I, as an employee. What a great feeling...to really make a difference.

Great staff, community involvement, desire to improve.

Cons

Very hard to promote from within in areas other then retail banking. Slowly becoming more of a big bank concept vs. community banking.
