Very Disappointed

Pros

My team is (mostly) great people who do the best they can given what we have to work with. Have helped me keep a positive outlook given all the negatives we face. Culture is community & client centric, but does not make up for all that is lacking.

Cons

- Opportunity for advancement is limited if you are not in primary locations of company - Salary levels below industry standard - Entry level time off allocations are minimal & only increase after 3 years. Well below industry standard - Company is far behind technologically. Internal frustrations due to this are countless. - Frustrations from merger pervasive; increased turnover - Management is disjointed & ineffectual

NIGHTMARE! WARNING

Pros

The benefits offered to employees are nice. They have a plan with 0 out f pocket premium for employees. This is a great plus and very unusual now days.

Cons

Everything else! Working with the HR TEAM IS A NIGHTMARE! You are not properly trained because no one has time and you will have an ever increasing workload with no appreciation. They brag about their core values, but when someone actually tries to follow them they are reprimanded and fired for ridiculous reasons! BEWARE!

Pros

If you are hired from a position of strength, it can be a very good place to work. The environment is generally pleasant, and a fair number of individuals scattered throughout the organization actually believe in the lofty culture ideals and mission.

Cons

Other than key personnel and managers, employees are not valued. Internal communications are as slickly marketed as the external ones, but the truth is in the financial statements. Cost cutting on employee salaries and number of positions is high on the list, and work-life balance is answered with "we're not about to slow down, so keep up or find another job". Don't expect a promotional increase of salary to ever match inflation. Do not attempt the foot-in-the-door approach, internal hiring between positions is made so difficult for managers that they rarely bother even interviewing you.
