Don't expect to work remote

Pros

The only pros are the individual contributors. I worked with some incredibly talented people.

Cons

The "return to office" initiative has been a complete disaster. They expect people who have been remote for years and whose team members are geographically dispersed to sit in a cubicle 3 days a week.

Pros

Management generally prefers keeping customers satisfied as a means to growing our relationship rather than always pushing for sales. The bank has good management and likes to hire from within

Cons

The incentive program recently changed, drastically reducing my overall incentive pay. The system also feels quite convoluted - it is hard to tell how my sales activity translates to incentive pay. Back office support departments have good people in them, but a good number of apathetic or over-worked individuals who seem less than willing to help the customer facing staff. At times dealing with complex issues I would reach out for help and be told to "look it up" in our procedures manual - a manual which often didn't have the specific information I needed
