Pros

They were flexible with scheduling.

Cons

Management is *mostly* horrible. I'd never return even though I made decent money. Upper management in the Rogue Valley is a joke and overlooks MAJOR issues resulting in very unhappy employees. They were once a community run bank and quickly have changed into a money hungry company who doesn't value employees.

Umpqua really contributes to the communities they serve and for the most part is a good company to work for. Management treat staff fair and are always very approachable.

Cons

Umpqua could do better at decentralizing, investing more in regional offices to support corporate staff to assist in alleviating the stress, time, and costs related to commuting to the corporate offices in downtown Portland.

The core values really are so important to everyone. There was never a day that I felt everyone didn't want to be there. They care about serving the community. If you are a hard worker, they will promote you!!
