Decent pay Good benefits Many great co-workers Good place to add to your work experience while looking for a step up if you stay on contract.

Cons

Managers live and work in another state and only involve themselves to demand overtime when poorly planned projects are in distress. Misguided and poorly implemented switch from waterfall SDLC to Scrum leaves all old and new projects unplanned, poorly staffed, and disorganized. Demands to meet unrealistic deadlines mean no innovation, efficiency, or job satisfaction. Umpqua offers no training, performance feedback, or interest in your future. Company culture is disconnected from the reality of work in EIM. No accountability, many seat fillers waiting for retirement create more work and drama for good employees.

Customers are awesome! Most of the co-workers are great!

Cons

Management has a lack of desire to cross train their employees. They say that they are going to, but always change their mind, never allowing their employees to learn other things even though they have asked multiple times. Very pushy sales requests. You HAVE to meet your sales goals or you get in trouble.

Cons

Credit process is painful and slow Poor communication by upper management Under market pay driven by what's appropriate for the PDX market, not major metro markets in CA
