Pros

Discounts off cases in the dent room, work is mostly independent. Compensation for phone and mileage.

Cons

Inconsistent raises, hours and schedule. Managment does not seem organized. Paid least out of the beverage merchandisers.

-Form great connections throughout the industry -work in teams -generally not micro-managed -Paid overtime -Benefits such as health insurance, retirement planning, PTO, etc.

Cons

-Often misogynistic -Long hours -Receiving clerks are often very difficult to communicate with and sometimes will actively work to make your job harder

Pros

They will take their time training you making sure you feel comfortable before sending you off on your own. Almost all supervisors and co-workers were easy to get along with.

Cons

As with any distributing job you are there to help the customer and you have to pander to their company's protocol. Some backroom clerks/managers can go on a power trip thinking you work directly for them.
