Pros

Location: Adjacent to trains, buses, Michigan Ave, Riverwalk, etc. (My Kind of Town Chicago Is) Dress Policy: Policy has transitioned from wearing jeans only on Fridays to being permitted to wear them every day (Forever in Blue Jeans!) Complimentary coffee, tea, juice, nuts, chocolate on a daily basis and bagels on Fridays (Bon Appetit!) Sponsored Events/Initiatives to promote wellness and fitness: myStrength App, Out of the Darkness Walk, Bike to Work Challenge, Shamrock Shuffle, Run Mag Mile (Baby We Were Born to Run!) Opportunity to attend complimentary Bulls/Blackhawks/Cubs games (I wanna be, I wanna be like Mike!) Annual party with prize give-aways which include gift certificates, appliances, video game consoles, iPhones, iPads, DRONES, TVs, use of the United Center suite (Insane in the Membrane!) Colleagues: My co-workers are some of the brightest, funniest, and most interesting people I’ve met. (Good Times!) Loyalty Rewarded: You receive a ROLEX watch when you reach your 10 year anniversary with the company and a CAR when you reach 20 years with the company! (You Get a Car!...and You Get a Car!”) Company Mission: This is a multi-dimensional company dedicated to helping employers provide resources for their employees and guiding them through the variety of challenges they face. (One Call Away) My basic philosophy about working here is captured through a quotation by Elbert Hubbard: “If you work for a man, in heaven's name work for him. If he pays you wages that supply you your bread and butter, work for him -- speak well of him, think well of him, stand by him and stand by the institution he represents. I think if I worked for a man, I would work for him. I would not work for him a part of the time, and the rest of the time work against him. I would give an undivided service or none. If put to the pinch, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness.” Bottom line: This is not camp, it is a work place—you get back what you give. Put your nose to the grindstone; be intellectually curious; go the extra mile and you will create your own path to success!

Cons

Continuous growth creates constant pressure to keep up with the marketplace – It’s busy, busy, busy 24/7 which can get overwhelming at time. Company can be more technologically advanced Working remotely is generally dissuaded

Pros

I get to help people directly every single day Great location in NBC Tower and great people to work with Free snacks, drinks, and bagels Lots of ability to move throughout organization True team feel

Cons

We are growing fast, so there are days when it feels like we are trying to keep up. Management seems to be aware and are hiring more team members to work with us. We are here to take calls and help people, so I am not sure why others are surprised that we are asked to do our jobs...but maybe it isn't for everyone.
