Pros
The colleagues I work with are awesome. The work-life balance is excellent. This is an employer that prioritizes a supportive culture and environment for mental health. For colleagues located in Chicago, the office is open for people that prefer to come in. For employees that prefer the flexibility of working from home, that is an option. I have a lot of respect for the CEO and Executive Leadership. They strike an excellent balance between being highly respected in the industry, being personable, enjoyable to work with and also taking things seriously. The company has been around for decades and while there is an excellent foundation and structure, there is still a very entrepreneurial spirit throughout the organization.
Cons
The work can be stressful but it is rewarding with the right mindset. Working at ComPsych is like anything else in life. What you put into it is what you will get out of it. If you are lazy or have a negative attitude then this is probably not going to be the best employer for you. If you are motivated, willing to learn and have a positive attitude then you have the potential to thrive and do well.
