Pros

- Good co-workers - Work life balance - Bagels on Fridays

Cons

- No company culture! The NBC tower where CP is housed hosts more events than compsych does! Compsych doesn't have consistent events or opportunities for team-building as an organization, you're either chained to your desk or just socialize within your immediate team. -Benefits are terribly expense and not very good. They offer 3 plan types but none of them are that appealing. Many candidates that interview with CP, choose not to accept offers because of our terrible benefits. The 401k matching is also poor and lacking behind what is market standard. - Most employees are severely underpaid!! Master's level employees are paid less than 40k, but do some of the toughest work for the company dealing with our clients distraught/depressed employees and taking 30+ calls a day. - HR is an embarrassment - they're unavailable and they're so driven by the rules that they've forgotten the "human" aspect of HR. - Many of the problems stem from the CEO's antiquated thinking and he honestly believes allowing employees to wear jeans everyday is going to fix all the internal issues at CP. -Turnover is rampant - the TA team can't fill seats fast enough to keep up with the amount of people leaving. Also, don't be fooled to think that the only people leaving are the folks on the phones. Tenured, senior employees are choosing to leave because of some of the business practices at CP. -Exempt employees have to clock-in and clock-out every day! They claim it's necessary because it's how your PTO is calculated, BUT a million other companies don't ask that of their employees and are still able to calculate PTO. A very strange and demeaning practice!! Honestly, there are so many better places you can work in Chicago. Companies that understand what it takes to keep employees engaged and happy...go find them and stay away from compsych!
