Pros

Most of the staff were super friendly and super helpful. The staff members that I worked directly were super nice and really helped me with questions I had. My boss was also super nice and super helpful throughout my training. There's snacks and juice throughout the day and bagels on Fridays.

Cons

I literally sat at my desk and stared at a computer for 7.5 hours a day. Most of the work I was assigned had to be done on the computer. I got frequent headaches and my eyes were always burning because I was always sitting at my desk using the computer. The office environment is super quiet---everybody just remains in their cubicles the whole day. The staff in Network Services were cliquey at times. The work itself was very boring to me. I didn't have a background in health services so it was really difficult for me to stay focused, stay motivated and stay AWAKE. I'd always just watch the clock and figure out ways I could pass 7 hours in the office each day. There is also little to no opportunities for upward mobility. I was told in my interview that you can't move up, but you can move around. I've met some employees during my time there that have been there for 20+ years and have worked all the positions there were in Network Services. That's kind of creepy and very depressing to think about.

Pros

Don’t let these reviews that were probably written by management fool you. This is a call center job with little to no personal time. You get 15-20 mins a day of personal time and are expected to be on the phone every minute after that except for on your lunch which is also timed. This place is micromanaged and you are treated as if you are in high school. I didn’t realize how much I was being treated like a prisoner until I started a new job and have had a great deal of freedom. No one is telling me when to go to lunch, I’m not pressured to take calls every second of the day, and most importantly not dealing with irate customers all day. This is not an entry level HR position. Not a stepping stone. It’s a call center. You don’t even need a degree in HR to work here. They take people from all different backgrounds. They don’t even pay you for your degree. The pay is horrible

Cons

You’ve been warned! If you are looking to get into HR this is not the place. If you like customer service, this is the place for you. Basically like working at a fast food restaurant but the call center version. You start out at 31k and career growth can take up to 2 years and even then you’re only bumped up to 40k. Not worth it
