Awful company, The positive reviews are fake

Pros

The location is one positive

Cons

Micromanagement, poor benefits, depressing culture Whenever ComPsych gets many bad reviews (which is often and they are accurate) , suddenly there are a flood of positive reviews to cover them up. Ignore those reviews. The CEO is controlling , cheap, egotistical, and has an amazing lack of self awareness., This trickles down into the culture of this company. The average person working here is very nice but the company is not a place you will want to be. There are rules on top of rules on top of rules of what is expected of you. You are watched like a child. The turn over here is very high and and takes forever to fill positions because no one wants the jobs.

Pros

Just the location, seriously, no more.

Cons

There are too many to list but the top offenders are (1) incredibly low salaries, (2) zilch autonomy, (3) no room for personal or professional growth/advancement, (4) few vacation days, (5) did I mention the incredibly low pay? Pretty much every position is entry level. Numerous people in my department have masters degrees (or higher) and are making in the low 30k. Pretty pathetic. As others have mentioned, you are paid to do exactly what you are told and they are not interested in improving operations or the overall environment. Thus, life at this company is mundane and consequently, one starts to feel his or her IQ dropping and loses all sense of accomplishment. If you want to feel like a dead end zombie, work here. If not, run for the hills!

Toxic environment

Pros

Better than homelessness I suppose.

Cons

The Las Vegas office is a toxic environment that is only getting worse. The majority of the staff act like teenagers participating in gossip and office politics that is far worse and more damaging than at most companies. Management is no better. Technology is outdated; benefits are expensive and provide mediocre coverage; sick time is basically non-existent as well as vacation time. There is absolutely no growth and no structure. For a company that prefers applicants to have degrees they sure are not willing to pay a decent salary. I encourage you to accept a job at this company if it is your last resort. The Las Vegas office is a revolving door of drama in a glorified call center.
