Pros

- Nearby happy hour bars, which are much needed.

Cons

- While working here Bed Bugs were found on our floor. We were still required to come to work with no safety precautions. - No Break Room because Bed Bugs were initially found in the break room and it was not refinished after extermination. - Newly hired Guidance Consultants are put on a waiting list for Clinical Supervision. For example, I was hired in March and did not attend supervision until June. (3 months of work not documented towards hours needed for licensure) - Evaluated by Team Leaders/ Managers by number of calls taken, rather than clinical quality of support given to our clients. - Awful Pay/Salary. - Minimal PTO. - 3 Sick Days per year. - Christmas Eve is a work day. - Horrible Health Insurance benefits. - Unprofessional and incompetent Managers/ Team Leaders. - No room for growth. - No raises. - Zero company events (no holiday parties). - Employees punch in and out. - Guidance Consultants/Employees are not allowed to speak to colleagues to build professional relationships. - Dirty work environment - Lunches are stolen from the refrigerator. - Micromanaged non-stop. - Anxiety ridden environment. - Negative work environment. - Managers play the "favorites" game. - Employees experience clinical burn-out quickly. - Team Leaders/Managers play the "favorites" game with employees. - Talk down to by management.

Pros

You get to work from home.

Cons

Management is contradicting depending on which team lead you ask your question. Policies are constantly changing but notices of the change are not well communicated, if at all. Benefits offer good coverage, but are very expensive. Company prides itself on worklife balance- but for clients, not employees. In this position you are trauma dumped all day long and expected to return to queue to help the next caller immediately. If you don’t, you’re questioned and called out on the time spent out of queue. CONSTANT tech issues from the computer itself to the software being used.

Pros

Good people, that’s about it!

Cons

The FMLA department is considered the largest department at the company but yet the pay is not a livable and sustainable wage! The managers are good yes but they only really care about metrics! Which makes the job stressful! The sense of guilt you feel if you just get up to go take a 5 min break is nuts! Not worth it. This is definitely a position for someone who is fresh out of college! Would not recommend at all!
