      Pros

      Helping people defend their jobs despite illness and life changing setbacks

      Cons

      Wave upon wave of talking head managent hired from outside who value quantity over quality yet spew conflicting messages. Everything is meant to throw you off balance and changes every day without communication to the trench workers...it's all smoke and mirrors in order to make $$$ from the misery of the suffering employees of the accounts.

      Pros

      Many people genuinely care about the work they are doing to provide assistance to people.

      Cons

      Salaries are below market; raises are tiny (1 to 3%); bonus distribution is very unfair---some departments get bonuses every year and others either aren't eligible or the goals for bonuses are unrealistic. Most everyone is afraid of the CEO.

      Very unprofessional environment with condescending approach from management

      Bagels and fruit on Fridays

      No support from HR and unpleasant work environment overall. The Director I was under was not knowledgable, unprofessional, spoke negatively about my co-workers, and basically surfed the internet all day while demanding we work harder and faster. No appreciation for excellent work, only focus was to say we weren't good enough. General leadership style is do as I say, not as I do. At that level management feels indestructible and they are allowed to behave in any manner they want to with NO consequences or questions to answer. Sad part is, the Director has no idea how to do what we do. It's insulting really.
