Pros

Some coworkers are amazing people. Some don't even try. Location. Water. A cafe downstais that has coffee for a huge price. Just trying to attain 20 words.

Cons

The CEO said in a group meeting after a huge fail requiring a group meeting with all the FMLA people that "No one is holding a gun to your head to work here".

Pros

Great location and office space in the NBC tower (pre-COVID)

Cons

* Every boss micromanages - I honestly believe that they are forced to in order to hold a leadership position * LOW pay - been working here for OVER 3 years and still make UNDER $40k (how is someone supposed to live off of less than $40k in the 3rd largest city in the US??!) * you have to clock in & out for work even though it’s a SALARIED job (they don’t trust their employees to work their time and they are strict with this) * not everyone gets time approved during holidays * no “sick days” - just a low amount of PTO * not easy to move up or grow your professional development * management is disorganized- not all upper management follow the same policies * burnt out easily * Benefits are expensive and not even good

Pros

You can choose to work extra shifts for some additional money

Cons

The team leaders are the worst part of this company. They are so condescending to the poor GCs (many of whom have the same level of education and experience as they do). I felt like I had to model what adult professional communication looked like to them. It is like some bizarre kind of Zimbardo Prison experiment where the the team leaders go on a power trip and use their “authority” to abuse those working under them. Over the course of the day they will not mention anything you do right but if you do one minor thing that’s not iN tHe mAnUaL they will send you a condescending email about it instead of just talking to you face to face like an adult professional. All the GCs roll their eyes behind the team leaders backs and console each other about having to deal with such immaturity. But nobody is ever going to do anything to change anything because Reasons.
