Pros

Personable individuals Able to have a decent training class with the right information Great at helping their favorites

Cons

Expects us to use our own money for travel and they are slow to reimburse No growth potential, can't tell them about leads as then they steal them Upset my strongest lead with constant calls to those I signed up. Got to the point that this lead does not want to see a Combined Insurance Rep anywhere near their restaurants. Uses coercion tactics to not pay what they are supposed to in commission

Good Company but

Pros

Good company. The corporate training in Chicago is all expense paid and very thorough. I like that the company promotes positive motivation. There is a base salary for six weeks that is helpful to allow you to build your business. Once in the field they assign mentors to go out with you.

Cons

Your success depends not only on your own personal drive but the mentor that you work with. I liked my mentor personally but there was a lot going during my training weather and conferences so I didn't get as much field training as I needed. Also you will definitely run into the "we have Aflac" block quite a bit.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. As a current employee, we especially appreciate your insights. It is our goal to set our agents up for success by providing a week-long, in-house training session. Once in the field, we provide ongoing training and managers to help coach and mentor. We appreciate that you brought up that we “promote positive motivation.” Our founder, W. Clement Stone, believed having a positive mental attitude was the key to success, and we continue to promote his sales principles today. It’s true that there will be challenges in sales, but for those who persevere and succeed, the reward can be great. Our agents have a virtually unlimited income potential based on the volume of their sales. We will share your feedback regarding the length of the base pay with our leadership. We wish you all the best in your career here with us!

Pros

You can pretty set your own schedule.

Cons

Management did nothing but embarrass and denigrate agents at the weekly meeting for not meeting sales goals.
