Pros

fun atmosphere and good training

Cons

you're basically self employed except they do provide benefits if you sell enough. Direct and Middle management when I left was useless to me as they provided no knowledge or direction, they were basically just doing what they had to do to justify their existence - and they left relatively soon after I left.

Thank you for reviewing our company. As you mentioned, we have a positive corporate culture based on having a positive mental attitude (PMA) that is fast-paced and high energy. In the U.S., Combined Insurance sales agents are employees and receive benefits as defined in their compensation package. We regret that you had a negative experience with your managers. We are always striving to improve, and we take your experience and feedback seriously. If you would like to add any more details, please email us at feedback@combined.com. We wish you all the best.

Pros

Combined Insurance provides Supplemental Health and Accident Insurance. These are excellent products that greatly benefits those who own them. Employee support is among the best I have ever seen. Training is thorough and regular. Managers go the extra mile to ensure that Agents and Account Managers have all the tools they need to be successful. There are many incentive programs to encourage success.

Cons

Sales is not for everyone. In addition to the support, training, and incentives provided by the company, individuals need to be self-motivated every day.
