Pros

Time flexibility, you make your own hours but really that's about it. You're your own boss.

Cons

No salary, 100% commission, people fight each other for leads, the leads are not even leads to begin with they are just a re-print of the yellow pages and management makes you feel stupid and unappreciative if you decline the cold call....Everything else!

Pros

The people here are great. It's like an extended family. We are a 90+ year old company (providing stability) and we are continuing to grow. That's exciting.

Cons

This is a lean-operating company and because of this, there are times in which the quality of work being done is not as good as it could be if more resources (or time) we available.

Pros

Flexible hours, in terms of when you arrive and leave. There is a good work/life balance. The actuarial study program is wonderful here and study time is respected by co-workers. It's easy to focus on work and studying, because the atmosphere at Combined is calm and quiet.

Cons

There aren't many social outings with co-workers. However, it seems like there's been an effort to create more social work events. The location in Glenview is a bit inconvenient, and there's only one option for lunch that's walking distance from the building.
