Pros

Flexibility, make your own schedule, income potential

Cons

Limited field support. The company boasts on its training program, but really, outside of the initial training period it becomes a sink or swim. The leads are a joke. They send out existing customer info, and many of the customers have been with the company forever, so they have seen the products. Cold calling is essential, at least in the territory I managed. It is very hard for new agents to make it past 6 months. If they do, they have a chance at making some money. Also, the health insurance is really expensive for the employee.

Pros

Hard work, initiative, and insight are rewarded both financially and in job satisfaction. We are businesslike in approach but casual as a work environment. We have the resources of a large holding company to draw from (Ace, Limited), and do business in all 50 states, Canada, UK, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Australia & New Zealand, so that makes the work more interesting (and sometimes more challenging).

Cons

The downside of being part of a large holding company is that in can sometimes can constrain your freedom in changing your operating procedures, or in what markets & products you can expand into.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company! We especially appreciate what our current employees have to say.We are known for having a positive corporate culture, which means we offer a fast-paced, high energy work environment with plenty of growth opportunity. We reward results: promotions are based on merit, not seniority. As you mentioned, we are part of the ACE Group, which is one of the world’s largest multiline property and casualty insurers. Again, we appreciate your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your career here with us!
