Pros

A Learning Experience Fairly decent training Great opportunity of meet friends

Cons

Old school training of days when it was ok and safe to go door to door Upper management could care less about the agent themselves, except what the agents can put in managements pockets.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. Combined Insurance is a great place to start a career in the insurance industry due to our size and family-like company culture. And, the great perk of being a subsidiary is that we are still able to leverage all of the resources and development opportunities from our parent company, Chubb. We take pride in the professional growth and development of our employees so that they are able to advance in their careers with us. We will be sure to share your comments with our team members. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

This opportunity changed my life. I started as agent with no experience and as a high school drop out. Within two years of working late nights and weekends I had accomplished what people working for us 20 years only dreamed of..... I was on the executive staff, making 150k with a G.E.D. This company is 100% merit based. I achieved this not because of tenure, education or favoritism. I achieved this by working harder, caring more about the people I trained and by truly becoming a student of the business. I didn't have to wait for Matthew to retire or David to quit/get fired. The company provides excellent training, unlimited earning potential, superior products, unmatched support, upward mobility. They are forward thinking, and technology driven. They have easily attainable awards, trips, bonuses and incentives. And the ability to sell to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Cons

If you dont have the discipline to make yourself go to work everyday with a purposeful focus improving, then you will fail. I you drive a car on it's last leg, consider it done. Every successful Combined agent I've ever known is the true definition of a Road Dog.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company! We especially appreciate hearing from our current employees. Your story is a great example of what this opportunity can mean for the right person. Sales agents who are willing to put in the hard work to develop and nurture their customer base and who have the positive mental attitude to push through the natural ups and downs of sales, are the ones who are most likely to love their careers at Combined Insurance. They have the potential to earn a virtually unlimited income, awards, and incentives. Additionally, we offer merit-based promotions and a comprehensive benefits package.
