Pros

Recruiter was okay at first.

Cons

Hi Pressure to get you to sales school in Chicago area. TONS of on line prep and sign offs you have to do before school. at least 5 - 6 hours of work just submitting everything. they never warned me of this at all. down played this completely. Did a ride along with an active agent, and that just convinced me NOT to do it. This is just door to door hard core sales. yes, w 2, but so what. still straight commission. and all prospecting everyday wherever you want to drive to

Thank you for reviewing our company. It’s true this type of sales isn’t for everyone, but we do have successful agents who are able to rise to the challenges associated with commission-only selling. It is our goal to prepare them through online courses and in-house training to help ensure that they are well-prepared to be successful. It is unfortunate you were not aware of all the processes required to get up and running, and we will remind our recruiting team to make sure they clearly communicate all the expectations to applicants. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

None Create written goals for employees to realistically achieve. Have clear-cut processes for employees to follow and to eliminate the multitude of gray areas. Don't chain employees to their computers and cell phones around the clock

Cons

Management communicate very little with employees unless you’re on their team. i.e. clique or brownnoser’s The salary is lower than other market for similar positions. Sneaky and Deceptive employees; including managers that promote this behavior that will throw you under a bus in a heartbeat in order to make themselves look competent. The manuals are outdated and procedures and not updated unless you mentioned it to Upper management. Management and supervisor's isolate themselves from employees they don’t say good morning or goodnight. Management do not provide tools for you be successful in your position.

Pros

Benefits and nice cafeteria in the building

Cons

A Management by FEAR and NEGATIVITY while communicating very little with employees Lower Salary than market commands for similar positions No Management Communication of Employee progress or written goals Sneaky and Deceptive employees (including managers that promote this behavior) that will throw you under a bus in a heart beat in order to make themselves look competent Antiquated and Convoluted processes that are so confusing not even a written manual with linear steps make it possible to complete in timely manner Emails needed to be checked around the clock for 'emergencies' which almost always came up. Working lunches at your desk were 'suggested' because of the fear mentality permeating at this location. Upper VP management went out of its way to isolate itself from the middle level employees by going on their own little special retreats without the rest of employees.
