Pros

Great support, mostly made up of professional and motivated employees that understand relationship building and keys to success. To be honest, the Agent position is an excellent opportunity if you "have what it takes". People who have good personal skills, honest, hardworking and intelligent will do well. It is not for the weak willed or people looking for instant gratification because all good work takes time to master along with real/honest effort.

Cons

The truth is (and I mean this as objectively as possible) the Agent position is not as easy as it seems but can be very rewarding if worked at with the right attitude and planning. Also, it would be nice if the company helped out with some expenses for agents (although if you sell enough it's worth it anyways)

Pros

Opportunity to make some money if you work 12 hours a day and weekends

Cons

Upper management would not keep promises, would gossip and spread rumors that were not true, down right lie to lure people in. Territory Managers or agents had to pay for their own business expenses (except mileage) and expected to work long hours, weekends, even holidays. Products small in premium so had to sell large volume - expected to produce new business/daily and if not we we're humiliated in front of everyone.

Pros

They will hire anyone as long as you are willing to get an insurance license. They do offer training however it is not paid unless you are hired on as a Territory Manager

Cons

Unethical Management, the executive management team live high off the hog while the people that are out making the company money live off of nothing. If you are let go by the company they will pay you all your commissions/bonuses due you however if you decide on your own that you do not feel as if this is a good fit and give a two weeks notice you forfeit your right to any pay due you (get fired get paid / resign and lose your pay - make sense to anyone?)
