Pros

Excellent sales training, positive company atmosphere, 13 week start pay, employee benefits, W2 tax advantages, good bonus structure, trip incentives, easy to advance. Excellent limited product line at low prices. This is a good position for "new" to insurance or Direct Sales agents.

Cons

Very low commission, high turn-over, over worked leads, very time consuming to make a good paycheck. Health benefits at 6 months, Dental in 1 year. Replacement is NOT allowed in ANY circumstance. You WILL get fired for it. Limited product lines, Book of Business belongs to them, not you. You leave Combined the same way you came in, with nothing. Old school mentality.

Pros

Combined truly believes in their training, they are a company full of a Positive Mental Attitude and they highly encourage enthusiasm. Combined makes all commissions very clear and helps encourage staff to take advantage of relevant programs and offers that will allow for greater earnings, not just greater sales. Management is all experienced in your specific position, so they understand your struggles and accomplishments.

Cons

Wrongs or "fuzzy" information about how training would be compensated. The real biggest concern is if this type of position is for you. Personally direct insurance sales is not for me, but I don't blame Combined in any way. I liked most things about the company, and I would recommend them to somebody looking for this type of position.

Pros

Training, pay is excellent if you are willing to work, senior management is awesome

Cons

Balancing personal and work is difficult and lots of pressure is put on top performers to do more to compensate for those that don't, though the work is rewarded w/ bonus, pay and recognition
