Pros

remote work was pretty cool. your working for a large corporation so you are just a number but if you have a good team it helps things run smoothly.

Cons

you work for a large corporation so you are just a number. your job being shipped overseas kind of sucks.

Pros

Cheap internet/cable and that's about it.

Cons

Everything else. If you couldn't tell, many of the "positive" reviews on this site have been cut and pasted, over and over again, likely by members of Comcast's marketing department. Their desperately trying to improve the company's image in its continued efforts to take over Time Warner and its customer service woes could totally mess up their efforts. I worked at the company for numerous years as a Video Repair Rep. Or should I say Sales Rep because, in 2012, they basically turned everyone in every department into sales rep. All that mattered was sales instead of actually getting anything fixed. Even though we were there to supposedly help customers with their TV, we were constantly hassled/rated/critique for not somehow, magically, convincing angry customers to take on additional services. If you enjoy working in an impossible stressful environment for low pay while being monitored more closely than a terrorist at Guantanamo Bay, then, by all means, become a customer service rep in one of Comcast's call centers/Orwellian pits. But look out. Morale in each of these centers is even worse than a detention cell. You'll find people in happier moods in a high security prison.
