Pros

The company as a whole, particularly in Colorado's Tech Center, is filled with kind people with big hearts. Diversity is valued, and the only thing that stops you from reaching the top of the company is you. Constant recognition and decompression in the form of; individual award recognitions, group bbqs, movie outings, happy hour get togethers, etc... The business/enterprise side of the company creates and nurtures an environment that makes you feel like all Comcasters are a family.

Cons

Pay is less than the industry standard. They offset this (somewhat) with quarterly bonuses and free cable, internet, and phone services, as well as discounted home security. Time in position (tenure) is lost if you leave the company for any period of time. Training and support is non-existent above an entry-level position. The business and enterprise side compared to the residential side of the business have drastically different management. Aim for business/enterprise for a better, happier, experience with the company.

Pros

Great benefits, great people, compensation, etc.

Cons

Company knows they are declining in revenue as media consumption changes and they are taking steps to reduce headcount and severance costs by reducing benefits, reducing bonuses, reducing stock grants and performance management. Empowerment went away years ago so you have to sell the way senior leadership (who have spend no time on the front lines) tell you to sell. Company is moving to programmatic selling not person to person selling.
