Pros

Pay can be good depending on the accounts you have. There is a lot of freedom to get the work done and go where you need to. They do have good people that work there on the ground floor. These employees work hard to help each other.

Cons

Company has had two terrible years back to back. Lots of management and other positions were let go. They are constantly changing things and rolling out new ideas when they are not proven. Management doesn't understand what the ground force is having to deal with. All they care about is it should work this way.

Pros

If an insecure job is your only option, Comcast is a good place to start. The benefits are fair and for the less ambitious, they offer nearly free cable and internet.

Cons

Comcast is the quintessential model of a modern day US corporation. You are nothing more than a number and advancement is not based on merit, but on favoritism. The pay offered is much lower than the incomes for equal positions found at its biggest competitors and HR openly tells it's employees that they will never pay fair/comparable wages.

Pros

They let you travel for the the first 3 months and train you. Which was the only enjoyable thing about this position.

Cons

They take advantage of college graduates. They mental and physically abuse you! They do not pay there employees fair for the work they do. You get instructions from individuals who have never sold a day in their life’s or haven’t in 5+ years. This program is a joke and the account executive that are there even say it. If you want to be overworked and underpaid after college go ahead and work for Comcast Spotlight. It doesn’t matter what you do nothing will ever satisfy the leaders of the program. If you take this job you always need to have a backup plan! You will go to work and be miserable every day. Also, they offer you a lot of vacation but it is not a vacation if you are asked to get WiFi and answer the phone while you are there. They will also give you a hard time and tell you how far you are behind when you get back. What is most heartbreaking for everyone who joins this program is that they promise you a spot in the area you are placed in to begin with. You quickly realize through your graduation calls that you will not end up at that office. You will either be fired or asked to move across the country. Probably the worst thing about this program is that your ”boss” is halfway across the country. The local sales mangers that you are assigned are glorified baby sitters. They do not care if you succeed or anything because when it comes down to it they cannot even fight for a position for you. They are there to micro manage your every move. College grad you have been warned!
