Pros

Great benefits, pay is decent if they don't add more work on your plate for the job you do.

Cons

For 11 years, I was a loyal employee, thinking this the best place to work, but slowly started watching only the favorites get recognized by management and promoted. It didn't matter how big of an expert you were if you weren't a yes man and a favorite and a minority then you were on the outs. You might do something right or be a top performer but it didn't matter if they didn't like you, you were out! The culture is bad now you used to feel like you were heard now you don't say anything negative or you might be out of a job. The stress got so bad I left after what I thought would be a career.

Pros

Health benefits and the ability to work from him that’s about it a

Cons

I was treated horribly guys. I ended up with the nastiest manager after training. I have the worst management team ever from training to nesting. Constant checking me of time on my time sheet and it got so bad one time that HR had to force change a corrective action that was applied to my employee profile by a disgruntled manager. I wouldn’t have got it removed if I didn’t advocate for myself. The toxicity of it all didn’t stop at that. I made a awful decision taking that job. I read the press and employee/customer reviews but I wanted to form my own idea so I took a chance and they almost ruined my mental heal with the games that were played. My management team would always say I dont care if a customer dialed the wrong number and wants to order pizza try and make the sale! Please keep in mind that every call received counts against your numbers even calls like someone dialing the wrong number or even blank calls. Just be cautious guys please! I resigned because I was being retaliated against for advocating for myself and I was back into a corner it’s sad what my team did to me ….

Pros

Nice place to work, great co-workers, get to work on products that are in millions households and TV and digital home products are fun. Really good benefits, isn't a sweatshop like comparable tech jobs. It's nice lately to have new acquaintances friend or family tell you they've notice the customer service is getting better. The company really did committed to turning that around about 5 years ago, it's the equivalent of turning a giant ship but a few years on, the progress is noticeable. Company does great philanthropic work and work for underserved communities that they don't get enough credit for. Also a very open and welcome workplace for diversity.

Cons

Lots of reorgs, budget squeezes, power point decks, corporate speak and leaders growing their fiefdoms and jousting with other leaders for dominance. Typical corporate stuff though, and I don't think the culture is as bad as it is at many other very large corporations. The company is going through a bit of an identity crisis, as the Comcast corporation continues to diversity its portfolio and footprint with Sky and NCBU, while the Xfinity brand can't decide if it wants to be a tech company on par with Google or Apple, and keeps trying to do things to get there but seems too afraid to commit.
