Pros

You learn quickly how not to run a company. You will learn to hate people and become antisocial

Cons

After 10 years working for this horrid place. The stress alone is enough to cause serious medical issues. Leadership will never properly you up. They will "dangle the carrot" to get you to work harder and faster while berating you with psychological trauma. I've watched agents have panic attacks before "coachings" many wound up on medical leave due to the methods used to "coach" along with what the agents have to put up with on the phones. The tools are not designed to fix problems only kick the can.

Pros

I like the majority of people I work with. There are also some good learning opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Upper management went completely dark and stopped being transparent to us in relation to return to office over the last several months. They essentially lied to us, going back on their word that they wouldn't make us go into the office just to go into the office. That is exactly what we are now going to be doing. It has caused a lot of unneeded stress and panic because a lot of us didn't see it coming after what we have been told in the past. There are many people unhappy with upper management currently. With the high amount of other companies that provide greater flexibility, a lot of us will be considering moving on.

Pros

Benefits, pto, benefits, pto, benefits

Cons

Something bad happened to Comcast proximately nine months after Covid started. I think those that don’t work in call centers I dictate the rules and regs for call-center agents found that the amount of money Comcast was saving by keeping employees home, suddenly open up a whole new door on how to take money from representatives and increase their workload. In the retention department we are forced now to fill out documents throughout the day if a customer cancels if a customer‘s revenue drops below 85% and I think someone who is new to management thought this would be a splendid idea to stress out the reps even more in this department that has probably the highest turnover in the company with the majority of employees out on leave for mental health. Did it ever occur to you that high morale makes a huge difference in your employees output? I have no desire to make Comcast more money. Nor do I care to make my supervisor even more money off of my sweat and tears. Hi long for the days where Comcast cared about their employees and not just management and all their little pets but for everyone. I’m not spiteful I’m just baffled if they don’t this. I believe the CEO is completely out of touch with his own company now.
