Pros
If you work at a hotel with a slow season you literally get paid to watch movies at work. Sign a ton of people up for rewards program and you can get free hotel nights. Consistent schedule.
Cons
Do not get paid nearly enough for the amount of responsibility. If you work nights there are no managers, so you are literally running an entire hotel for $12 an hour. They never want to give you time off. Some people who stay at hotels will be the rudest people you have ever met and sometimes just downright abusive. You have very little chance of ever promoting. many times their is just one owner/manager. Basically a dead end job with not so great pay and probably no benefits.
