Pros

Very easy to get hired.

Cons

Ongoing inability to pay their staff in a timely manner (month after month)...nepotism...serious lack of training for new hires...little to no notice for added shifts...numerous calls and texts (at all hours) to fill someone else's shift, to the point of harassment...retaliation if extra shifts aren't accepted...high turnover rate.

Pros

Good and friendly clients. Everyone I worked with was very pleasant and I enjoyed working with them and would prefer working private care instead of a facility but had to move on because of management.

Cons

Was told when I got hired that it would be full time and that they were hiring really bad for caregivers however it first took me 3 weeks just to get all the paperwork and everything taken care of then after I got hired they were sending me to 1 client a week for 3-4 hour shifts and when I called and said something to management about what I was told and I needed more hours she told me that I needed to be patient but they are trying. When they finally got me a regular client it was an hour away and they refuse to pay millage and only pay minimum wage. Also the client was for only 4 hours 4 days a week. I would not suggest anyone working with comfort keepers unless it's just a second job or just for you to get out of the house for a little.

Pros

Very flexible schedule. Adequate training. Able to earn paid time off. Some clients are really nice to work with. Timeand a half on holidays.

Cons

Often needed last minute to fill in. Some clients are difficult to work with. Hours can vary drastically. When you first are hired you basically just fill in for a couple weeks until you get regular clients. Only get schedule a week in advance
