Pros

Caregiving can be emotional rewarding and you can make a very real difference in someone's life. A good agency will try hard to match caregivers personalities and interests to that of the client.

Cons

I worked in the office as a care manager, so I know how much clients are charged, compared to how much caregivers are paid. Clients pay more than double the caregivers salary. That means the company keeps the majority of the money while the caregiver does 100% of the work for the client.

Pros

Flexible work hours, down to earth management, open communication. Everyone is really nice. I have worked here for 3 years. They are always growing and always hiring.

Cons

Hours vary from week to but as long as you are a good employee that is reliable and flexible, you get more hours and opportunities than those who are not.
