Pros

They do not have any pro's

Cons

This company has been the worst company i have ever worked for. They give you unstable hours and do not pay you if a client cancels. I have driven 50 minutes for a 3 hour shift only for the company to call me letting me know the client canceled. They did not pay me for the drive time either. Shifts are 1-3 hours long. 4 hour shifts are rare. Trust me, DO NOT WORK HERE if you need to pay for a piece of gum. You will not have enough money. You work to put gas in your car. It will ruin your life. I'm currently applying to new jobs.

Pros

Above average pay for industry

Cons

They hired me. I told them weeks before training started I took a shift with another company I currently work for on x mas Eve. I got through 2 days of training. That Friday they texted me to not come to pick up my badge and schedule and I was locked out of my care app. I think they fired me for asking about accommodating x mas Eve that I was working elsewhere. I think they got annoyed and just fired me. I have no idea why they fired me I tried calling multiple times for an explanation no answer or reply. I called again and they blocked my number. I could take off if I absolutely had to for their schedule but they didn’t even give me a chance to resolve this. Clearly they have a short fuse and are very intolerant towards their employees. Not worth being treated so poorly - there are other agencies who have nicer management. You are nothing without our labor, remember that! Value your employees. Ignorant and unprofessional. Not impressed. Extremely unreasonable and unaccommodating . I was completely shocked and blindsided that people act like this in 2023. Ignorant judgmental people. As a college graduate who studied business management this is definitely not how I would run a company. After reading other reviews on another platform I would agree about the comments about harsh rules. If you want to act like that get a career as a police officer…. Managing people in this field with that attitude will not get you far. Rubs people the wrong way. They fired me for inquiring about asking about a day off. (Which I could have accommodated them if they absolutely needed me to, they didn’t not entertain that dialogue instead blocked me and didn’t answer my calls and i assumed fired me since i was locked out of care app and told don’t come to pick up my badge ). Bizarre. They have a point systems it’s like the 3rd call off you get fired or something. Seems premature and judgmental. They jumped the gun. Don’t judge people until after events happen and if there is a pattern of behavior of actual call offs that actually happen. Have a little more patience and tolerance especially for new hires who might have more than 1 job. My current employer another home care agency says I’m one of their most reliable caregivers. Your loss.

Pros

Assisting with any care for other humans is always a benefit.

Cons

Always short staffed and highly underpaid. Administration experience is expected but the wages are entry level at best. The corporate world of dropping tasks to lower level staff until the bottom level is so overworked is absolutely ridiculous.
