Pros

Great clients, flexible hours. Great location.

Cons

Owner offers zero support to staff. From support staff to caregivers, you are thrown out to learn on your own. NATIONAL Company Policies are not followed, caregiver references are never checked. Instruction from owner is to hire anyone willing to show up. Owner will not justify his decisions, he executes what is to be done without giving support staff the tools to complete task. Being a nice guy doesn't make a good leader.

Low pay, horrible management, and creepy clients

Pros

Opportunity to help older and disabled adults so that they can live a good quality of life. Companionship with (mostly) kind and respectful clients. Plenty of opportunities to work overtime. Work supplies such as PPE are provided. Paid training.

Cons

Sometimes you have to deal with disrespectful and offensive people. Company is good about not sending workers back to them once that is reported. Communications between clients and office are often overlooked or forgotten completely. Low pay for emotionally taxing work. Promises of raises and gift cards to your favorite places after 30 days hired but never seeing any of that. Your clients that grow to love you for what you do for them and them constantly praising you to the office staff and never being personally mentioned or noticed for it.

Pros

you get to provide care and help client with plan of care, daily needs/ activities.

Cons

You are the front-line worker.... most underrated. If you a retired healthcare individual, with no need for income to meet your basic needs this the best job. If not don't even bother. Basically, you are helping the company make money while you get the short end of the stick.
