Pros

Hired me with absolutely no relevant experience, simply because I am a military veteran.

Cons

No training plan, or training accountability. This made it difficult to learn from senior technicians. Senior technicians looked down on lack of formal education in related industry, and refused to put effort in to train. Managers did not acknowledge this or put together a training plan. At one point manager simply said "I need to pick up the learning curve." Without any realization of how I was being trained.
