      Pros

      Commerce Bank is a wonderful place to begin your career! I begin working as a part-time Personal Banker and have worked my way into the career path I've chosen. They have great internal opportunities for growth and development as well. My experience at Commerce has been wonderful for the past 5 year I've worked with them. They provide great benefits and competitive pay.

      Cons

      I have not had any issue with Commerce at all. The company is very accommodating and looks out for their employees.

      Pros

      I've worked a lot of places, and Commerce is by far the best employer I've had. Not job is perfect, but I think Commerce genuinely tries to do the right thing by their employees 100% of the time. There's a reason why so many people stay their entire careers here- it's hard to leave! The vacation time is very generous, and work life balance is hard to beat, especially after they adopted work from home during the pandemic- and kept it!

      Cons

      Every department has their own culture within a culture, so your experience may differ based on your line of business. Pay could be more competitive, but what you give up in salary you get back in work/life balance and a great working environment. I'd rather get paid a little less rather than hate coming to work every day.

      Started at a good wage (60k) Teammates were amazing, both on my direct team of developers and the BAs

      Cons

      Un-organized and redundant paperwork and records Management has no concept of the rolls involved the "blame game" is strong on all fronts Team lead is incompetent and petty and management above them is disconnected "Constructive" criticism is not existent, as they are too busy talking down and patronizing you through aggressive and belligerent emails and teams messages
