Pros

We have gotten several bonuses and increase of hourly pay because we have continued help clients in crisis during Covid. Other places I worked did not give extra money to staff. It was good to be thought of and rewarded.

Cons

Short staffed all of the time is very stressful. Co-workers calling in sick and taking advantage of Covid19 attendance policy.

Pros

Staff's dedication to the people we serve.

Cons

This organization is very similar to the Crisis Text Line in New York. There's racism, bullying and favoritism. No diversity training, and the make up of the executive leadership is not a representation of staff or the people being served. This is not a safe environment, we are short staffed on EVERY shift and have been for some time. This is only a portion of what I experience working part time.

Pros

Great way to help those in need

Cons

If you’re a person of color do NOT expect to be treated fairly. No need to reach out to HR or management they all work together so there will be no REAL solution
