Pros

CSIG's heart is in everything it does with the focus on staff and residents; with every person, every interaction, every minute of every day. Hugs and smiles everywhere. The residents become our family and are treated that way: we hold a Resident's hand if they're feeling down, we create a favorite dish they had as a child, we're there in a time of need - even through the last days. This is the best organization I have ever worked for in my career as an RN in geriatrics.

Cons

There aren't enough Independence Villages and StoryPoint communities. I'd love to see one or more in EVERY state so everyone has the opportunity to visit and live in one of our communities.

Pros

The best part was the people.

Cons

The management. They treat people badly..They sent new chef's in and its so bad the Attorney General needs to step in. They brought in men to the kitchen and replacing woman with men.The kitchen is so dirty now and the food they complain on every night and with the amount of money these people pay, they should have the kind of food they like and are asking for. So on top of the bad ,food, dirty kitchen, you should then add in the lead cook sweating all over and taking the dry kitchen towels that you wash counters off and dishes with,Let's have him wipe his face and neck off with them and then lay them on the counter where we cook and prep food. YUMMY!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. At CSIG, it’s our goal to provide ridiculously good service. We’re disappointed that we’ve let both our employees and our residents down, and didn’t provide an outstanding culinary experience. Although we have made staff changes, we want to recognize that we are an equal opportunity employer, and hiring decisions are not based solely on gender. We are committed to providing the best culinary experience for both our employees and our residents at all of our communities. Thank you again for taking the time to voice your concerns.
