Horrible place for men

Pros

Nice employee events & annual gifts

Cons

1. Horrible place to work if you’re male. Middle and upper mid management is vastly female with chips on their shoulders. A female coworker did NO WORK for months along with a sexist attitude toward her male surpervisor (me). This was brought to HR with objective data and copies of passive aggressive demeaning emails. HR did NOTHING, not even a corrective action notice toward the female employee. If you’re male you will be ignored, you will be demeaned and forced to work your job and the non-working female coworker’s job as well. Feminist ideology has penetrated this system and the male employees are talking about it.

Pros

Working with the patients and building relationships with the patients

Cons

Having a supervisor that has never been a supervisor before. Nobody cares about you on a real person to person level. Micro management like I have never experienced in the professional world for over 13 years. Unprofessional. Unethical. Benefits are not great for a health care company.

Pros

Most of the nurses and ancillary staff are very caring people

Cons

So much arguing and bickering, finger pointing and blaming. Fighting over who has to take the admission, yelling if the admission went to a different unit, on and on with the petty issues. Supply bins empty for a week at a time, charge nurses vanishing from the unit when they have assignments.
