Pros

Met great people and built long-term relationships.

Cons

Constantly laying-off hard-workers while promoting the incompetent purely based on politics. I had to do three jobs while getting compensated for only one. Lowest paying company in healthcare. They are making poor business decisions.

Pros

- The 401k match is generous

Cons

-recruiting and HR are truly awful. No discernible change under new Chief People Officer -most higher level hires and promotions have gone to young, white men. Centura does not feel inclusive. -Company's stated compensation strategy is to hire in the middle of the market. Centura doesn't try to attract or retain real talent in the marketplace. The process for determining increases has changed every year I've worked there - Overly focused on nursing productivity. Nurses will be stretched to the maximum patient : nurse ratio and asked to flex off or work in a different unit. Quality patient care is secondary.
