Pros

There are some good departments and people at Commonwealth. There are issues, however, in other departments that are left unaddressed because everyone is too busy repeating the highly enforced mantra of "oh gollies what a great place this is."

Cons

There are a few departments where favoritism, cattiness, and nepotism rule the day. There are problem managers that personnel and higher ups refuse to do anything about despite the same issues arising again and again with different employees. Personnel exists mostly to hire their own children. You better drink the Kool-Aid. I have worked in much nicer places, but I have never worked in a place where employees are forced to act like brainless zombies repeating what a great place to work this is over and over again. That's the environment at Commonwealth. If you can mindlessly recite that mantra, don't speak up when you think there are problems, and basically act like an obedient sheep without an original thought--then you'll do just great.

Pros

Excellent training and backup and a supportive and friendly atmosphere leads to high morale and a comfortable office feel, which is important in a sales position.

Cons

Primary downsides are those associated with working in any real estate company. commission only positions are often difficult to incorporate into life.
