Pros

Non in cashiering unless you are maybe fresh out of college looking to work in finance.

Cons

No upward mobility within department unless you're in their little group of buddies. Clear history of racial discrimination that's gone unchecked. Pay is low compared to other ops departments Cashiering is split up into 3 sub departments that nobody understands outside of the department. Creates a lot of confusion for interactions with reps and internal.

Enjoyable place to work

Pros

Great culture, people, and benefits. Salary is a bit under market, but they are working to fix this. Every supervisor I've had has been fantastic. Good place to begin a career, especially in Financial Services

Cons

Salary under market, which they try to make up for with a variable bonus that is completely dependent on Advisor's satisfaction and not team/ individual performance. Company trailing in the wrong direction. Trying to triple growth in 10 years, without the back office support to match. Used to be fun and laid back, now there are too many advisors and not enough home office staff to counter. Often leaving people stressed, overworked, and fearful to take time off.

Pros

The jobs are straightforward, not very challenging (not sure if this is a pro), and there's steady money.

Cons

I worked in the marketing department, where there is little room for advancement or professional development. While many gush about the wonderful culture, I didn't find it in the marketing department where the turn over was very high and there was a lot of unhappiness. It seems like a good place to work as long as you're not in the marketing department.
