Pros

Mission is strong, and you'll work alongside some who implement and stand behind the work proudly.

Cons

Lack of proper communication from Upper Management and leadership. Weirdly tense and their office layout is open so you won't have any privacy.

Pros

- Getting to build connections with students and their families - Learning about the different resources in the community - Other staff members are all very passionate about the work they do

Cons

-Do not get much time actually collaborating with coworkers as you are at your individual site every day - Can be very isolating as you are an outside agency hire in a school - School staff often do not understand your role and assign you tasks outside of your job - Difficulty getting school admin to respect your role as you do not have your advisor there and are left to advocate for yourself constantly with little to no support
