Pros

The best part of the work at CIS was anytime I got to interact with the affiliates - their leadership, the site coordinators and the students. Passionate, inspiring folks making real change happen, every day.

Cons

Like any good non profit, our ambition often exceeded our resources, and we struggled with balancing that. While I was there the organization was completing a transition away from the founder, but the Board was still a bit of a creature of the past.

Pros

Flexible hours - being able to create your own hours, low-stress level job, very fair pay for the amount of work that is required to put in.

Cons

Discipline issues with students at times, Sometimes teachers do not know what to have you do so there could be a lot of just sitting time,
